FINAL REFLECTION FOR WORLD LITERATURE 2020-2021

This semester is very different from any other one. We have been doing online learning since schools were shut down. At the beginning of the year everything seemed to be normal. Then in we got our first case of covid-19. Not long after schools were shut down and we had to do online learning for what was planned to be two weeks. It turned out to be the rest of the year. The courses have been very different and are still changing. We are still trying to adapt to this online learning. In this course we didn't do the same things as our other classes. In this course we have our blogs where we share our thoughts as assignment.      As I look back on our experiences something I find most meaningful is that Dr. Preston doesn't make class feel like school. He lets us give our input on things and actually takes them into consideration. He made us create blogs so we can write our own story to our life. Dr. Preston wants us to write our thoughts and opinions. Every...

Les Mis Book 2 Chapter 6

In this chapter we are introduced to  Jean Valjean. He stole a loaf of bread and went to jail for five years. Stealing that loaf of bread because he was trying to feed his family ruined his life. When he got out of jail he only found  one out of his seven kids and that one child that was still alive was mistreated.

Les Mis Book 2 Chapter 5

In this chapter the man asked the bishop why he would just let a stranger into his house not knowing anything about him. He said how do you know that im not an assassin. The bishop basicaly said he trusts god. So its not his concern its gods.

Les Mis Book 2 Chapter 4

In chapter 4 of the second  book I wondered how can they man be so mean to criticize someone that is willing to feed and shelter him.

LES MIS BK 2 CH 3

Why did no one let the man stay. After the bishop let the man stay why did he tell the bishop about his criminal record. Why doesn't the man believe that the bishop is giving him a place to stay. The man smiled every time the bishop called him "sir." From that you can tell he was miss treated for a long time and a small kind gesture towards him makes his day.

LES MIS BK 2 CH 2

Based on the name of chapter 2 I know that the chapter is going to be about the bishop. Monseigneur has been trying to convince the bishop to lock his doors. Monseigneur tells the bishop to at least stop say "Come in" when someone knocks because he doesn't know if their intentions are bad.

LES MIS CH 9

This chapter is starts by talking about a women's intuition. I feel like a women's intuition is always right. I think that as a women grows older her intuitions become a lot stronger. I think that because as they become older they learn more about their own intuition.

LES MIS CH8

My first impression of chapter eight is how can he be so mean. How could the bishop be so calm with the senator when he is saying all those mean things about him. Although he was drunk that still isn't an excuse. This shows what type of person the bishop is.

Essay

Giving up your right to your opinion during an argument can be hard. Not many people give up their o pinion because they will be blamed for what they are speaking up about. Giving up the right to your opinion means to give your opinion on something. There are many ways to give up the right to your opinion.     Giving up your right to you opinion during an argument can improve our country. It can improve our country because if one gives up their right to their opinion they can help reduce controversy. Giving up your opinion can lead to arguments. The arguments are good because it will help clear and get rid of problems our countries have.      Giving up your right to your opinion can also help prevent us passing down anger or aggression to younger generations. Arguing will help solve problems. So the problems can be solved and fixed before it's passed down to the younger generation....

1. What has been the hardest part of starting school during the pandemic? Teachers give out to much work. 2. What have you enjoyed the most about starting school during the pandemic? I have enjoyed getting to see how everything is going to work this year. 3. What are your goals in this course this year? What do you want to learn or get better at? My goal is to pass the class and improve my writing skills. 4. What's one habit you can start, stop, or improve to support your success? I can stop procrastinating. 5. What grade do you expect to earn on the semester report card? I expect to earn like a B.

"THE RIGHT TO YOUR OPINION"

I agree with "THE RIGHT TO YOUR OPINION" because your opinion doesn't really matter if you don't have anything to back it up. Everyone has their own opinion and most of the time you can't change it. If you just give someone your opinion you most likely won't change it but if you have some sources or explanation as in to why you have that opinion then you can get them to think about why you believe in your opinion.
